Sopran Ciodue

Fineurop Soditic acted as exclusive debt advisor to Clessidra in the acquisition of a majority stake in Sopran Ciodue and its subsidiaries Ciodue and CiodueItalia from the founders.

Founded in 1983 and headquartered near Milan and Rome, Sopran Ciodue is an italian leader in fire security and workplace safety solutions and offers a comprehensive range of products and services including fire-fighting equipment, maintenance of fire prevention systems, design and installation of fire suppression systems, as well as workplace safety consultancy and training.
The group operates in a large and resilient market, driven by strict regulatory requirements, and serves a highly fragmented customer base composed mainly of SMEs enterprises throughout Italy.
In recent years, it has recorded solid organic growth, reaching over Euro 50 million in revenues and around 200 employees.

The transaction represents the eighth investment by Clessidra Capital Partners 4 and aims to support the group’s next phase of growth in new customer and service segments leveraging both organic initiatives and a consolidation strategy in a highly fragmented market

The transaction was financed by Banca Ifis, Crédit Agricole Italia, Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, BNL and BPER Banca.
